A Merchant Navy Captain, he travelled all over the world and is today anchored in Pune, where he runs the prestigious Sunny Jacobs Tennis Academy. Since the last 25 years, he has coached more than 5,000 young boys, girls and corporate tennis. Being an ardent sports lover, he is certified as a professional tennis coach from the United States .and is also a keen golfer.

 He has served as the Honorary Secretary for 14 years for Poona Kennel Club (now, Poona Kennel Confederation) and is President, since last 11 years of this oldest Kennel Club.

 As he is an animal lover, he contributes generously for various animal welfare schemes.

 Dogs are our best friends, hence he believes that he too must be just and loyal to truly represent them.
