I was born and raised in Bangalore(India). I am a Chef by profession. I passed out of the Institute of Hotel management (IHM) Bangalore. Currently I run my own business as a Food Stylist and Consultant. Most of the major food and food related brands in India have been or still are my clients. My website is www.javinder.com

My association with Show Dogs started in 1994 with Dalmatians and Dobermans. My own kennel prefix, “Jaspar” was registered in 1995. In the next few years my Doberman’s went on to win some top awards - the “Dog of the Year (B.I.)” in the year 1998-99 while “Jaspar Kennels” won the “Breeder of the Year” award twice, in the years 1998-99 and 2000-01. Around the same time I bred my first litter of English Cocker Spaniels and in the next few years got in some well known lines from overseas breeders. I had the pleasure of winning “Puppy of the Year” in 2002 with an Australian imported cocker bitch.

I have bred B.I.S. award winners in Dobermans, Cocker Spaniel , Boxers and Dalmatians.

Over the years my breeding has won over 100 Best in Show awards, I have won four BISS in National Specialty Shows with my Dobermans. I also have to my credit bred 3 American Champion, 2 American Grand Champion Doberman, 5 Canadian Doberman Champions. My home bred Doberman dog “Jaspar’s Destiny’s Child (Donnie) won All Breeds Best in Show/ RBIS, Multi Best in Group in America. He is also an American Grand Champion, Multi Group1st winner, won an Award of Excellence at the Eukanuba show 2012 and was in the Top Twenty Dobermans 2012. It is the first time that an Indian bred dog has achieved that. He is “B.I.S. Am. GCh.Multi B.I.S/B.I.S.S.Ind. Ch. Jaspar’s Destiny’s Child”.

My home bred dog Multi BIS.Ind.Ch. Am.G.Champion Jaspar’s Hunter’s Moon(Atom) made it to the Top 20 dobes in America 2016-17. He is the 2nd Asian bred dog to achieve this, the first being his Grand Father “Donnie”.

I have in the past owned Dalmatians, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniel, Irish Setter, Boxers and Kerry Blue Terrier. I currently own Dobermans and a Golden Retriever.

I have judged overseas in Australia, China, Thailand, New Zealand , Philippines, Ireland , Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Sri Lanka and North America.

I have had the honour to have judged BIS at Geneva at their International Expo., Top dog Switzerland in 2015 and 2017,Norway Nationals BIS 2017, Top dog New Zealand 2015. I have judged Doberman Specialities in Australia and New Zealand, Poodle Speciality at Sweden in June 2016. Siberian Husky and English Springer Speciality in North America (2017).

I live in Bangalore with my mother, wife and two sons.
